Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our customers! – from the staff at Fisher’s of Gerrards Cross
Local specialist supermarket Fisher’s of Gerrards Cross is opening late on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd December 2010. This extra trading opportunity allows customers to do their Christmas food shopping after work on the way home. The manager of the community-focused store, Richard Birch, has allocated extra staff to ensure high levels of customer service and is proud of the team. ”We have spent many man hours clearing the car park so our customers can park easily and safely make their way to the doors, and we are expecting hundreds of shoppers to collect their turkeys over the next few days”.
The recent opening of a Tesco superstore in the middle of the village has received a mixed reception from shoppers. Fisher’s are confident that the difference in the two shops is enough to ensure their survival.
Paul and Sam Fisher run the store together with an experienced and skilled workforce of over 50 staff.
